Applegate’s degree apprenticeship scheme has featured in the pages of the Financial Times following interviews with Chief Executive Stuart Brocklehurst and degree apprentice Jack Richards. The FT’s business education correspondent Jonathan Moules penned the piece after hearing four Applegate apprentices speak at a recent event in the House of Commons. The degree apprenticeship scheme allows you to ‘earn whilst you learn’, also enabling those studying for a degree in management in business to put their lectures in context in an applied setting. On completion of the course, in addition to an honours degree, graduates receive the qualifications of Chartered Manager and Member of the Chartered Institute of Management. Applegate strongly supports this approach to higher education.
