Atlas Winch and Hoist Services (Southern) Ltd

We started off 2015 with extending LEEA training for our engineers and operators. This programme continues throughout the year. We have been very pleased with the response from our staff and they have performed very well and been successful at all levels.

We have also added personnel to our First Aiders team.

From 1st December 2014, Atlas Southern will be using the respected and well known hire management software “InspHire”. We are confident that this will improve our enquiry response time, handling of orders and tracking of live hires, which will not only benefit us but our wide ranging and respected customer base. The autumn has been a busy time at Atlas Southern, we have taken on a new Fitter/Driver in Chris Verguson. Chris is settling in well and having him on board helps to increase our capacity and coverage across the South of England. With the addition of Chris we have also added to our vehicle fleet with a new Mercedes Sprinter beaver tail truck, providing greater flexibility for our deliveries and collections and reduced costs to our customers.

We are delighted to announce that the Southern branch of Atlas Winch & Hoist Services is moving. From Friday 17th January 2014, the Essex depot will move its activities just a few miles from the current location to extensive new premises. The 1.6 acre site provides a much larger yard, increased and improved workshop capabilities and newly refurbished offices.As well as improved facilities the move will provide some much needed capacity to allow the Southern business to continue to expand the range of products and services available. The further growth of the hire fleet and counter sales of cabling accessories will be particular areas for continued development.
