Our Port Coverage

EFS Global is linked to all major ports and terminals across the UK to allow us to conduct efficient customs clearances whilst offering a tailor-made service to every customer’s individual needs. We also use the latest CDS customs software for electronic transmission direct to the HMRC.

For non-inventory linked shipments EFS Global can cover all ports.

T1 – TAD (Transit Accompanying Document) Clearance

EFS Global has a Customs Guarantee that allows us to provide Transit Documents through the NCTS. The T1 document enables uninterrupted transit to your final destination, allowing clearance in your destination country without paying duties/taxes at the border.

Goods leaving GB and going to the EU require a T1 document unless clearance has been arranged for the port of arrival, e.g. Calais/Rotterdam/Zeebrugge.

Pallet Network Distribution

EFS Global is a valued member of all main Pallet Networks across the UK; (Pallet-Track, UPN, Pallex, Palletways, Palletline, and The Pallet Network.) With our palletised distribution network, there is a practical, efficient, and affordable way to undertake distribution services for consignments of usually up to 6 pallets.

We are experts in handling all types of palletised goods for various businesses, such as Bathroom Furniture, Car Parts, Pallets of Logs, and IBC Containers. Anything that can be securely fastened to a pallet, we can handle it! 

EFS Global offers customisable pallet delivery services to suit your needs. We offer:

• Next Day, Economy, Timed
• AM, PM and a Handball Service
• Trackable Vehicles to keep tabs on your consignments (subject to area)

Groupage

Small and medium loads are just as important to us as full freight deliveries. Customers with small shipments that would not complete a full load will find groupage an economical solution. Groupage also allows for less handling than a pallet network and sometimes can be more cost-efficient.

Load consolidation is an integral part of what we do and as such, we can offer a trouble-free part load service. With the latest in load planning technology, we guarantee our vehicles are filled as efficiently as possible.

Full Loads / Direct Deliveries

A full-load service allows you to use a vehicle to its maximum capacity. We have a range of vehicle sizes (rigid and articulated), subject to the depot (info on request). All vehicles are fitted with the latest systems of tracker technology and cameras.

EFS Global offers full-load distribution services for one-off deliveries and multiple full-load requirements. Our qualified planning team will endeavour to meet any specific delivery requirement and provide a tailored package via our skilled customer service team. We inspect any cargo to ensure it is safe for travel by the driver at the point of collection.

Bonded Warehouse

What does bonded storage mean, and how does it benefit our customers?

Goods stored in a bonded storage facility benefit from the deferred payment of duty and VAT until the goods are sold and/or removed from storage, effectively making it a duty-free zone.

There are two main advantages of storing goods in a bonded warehouse:

• Traders get a substantial benefit to their cash flow through the deferment of the payment of tax
• Duty need not be paid on imported goods which are intended for re-export
