Big brother of the AF30/8A4N, this board brings with it not only the advantages of a deeper profile and hence stiffer frame construction, but also an additional glazing possibility – toughened glass or the standard Plexichoc glazing, and a choice of headers, allowing the user to customise it with a name and, if required, even a logo.

Shown here with the standard silver anodised finish and optional internal header panel, this AX8 board is an example of a wall-mounted church noticeboard, one of a pair for St Mary’s Church, Swansea.  The top-hinged door rises, and is supported when open, on gas stays, leaving both hands free for the placing of notices. This is one of our most popular unglazed MmT boards when used, as illustrated with a g.r.p.-encapsulated insert to produce information, interpretation or map panels. Depending upon the intended purpose, the AF58/9A4 can be viewed, as its name implies as a noticeboard to accommodate up to 9 sheets of A4 notices or, alternatively, as an A1 poster case. As with all single-bay, portrait format AF30 & AF58 boards, an ingenious hinge mechanism allows the door to be removed and re-hung opening from the opposite side, without the use of tools.
