We specialise in sheet metal work, we produce many of our in-house designed products.

AKM Fabrications has achieved CE Marking BS/EN 1090-1. This standard regulates the fabrication and assembly of load bearing structual steel components up to EXC 2 in accordance to BS EN 1090-2:2008 + A1:2011 as of the 1st July 2014 CE Marking became mandatory.

Hydroseeding
Hydraulic seeding uses mulch and tackifier mixed with grass seeds and is applied to areas that are not suitable for conventional seeding.   Hydro mulch is made from wood chips with a temporary green dye added to aid application and improve appearance. Mulch is a totally natural product which forms a blanket over soil and has a high water retention for rapid germination.   Recent projects include railway, road and river embankments.

Permali densified wood laminate is made of beech veneers densified under pressure and heat  to same qualities as natural timber in regards of strength, resilience, stability and moisture resistance. Permali densified wood laminate can be, at your request, manufactured to suit the desired mechanical strength in any direction you want.
