Rivets

A rivet is a type of mechanical fastener which has a smooth cylindrical shaft known as a tail and a head on one side. Rivets work by being punched or drilled it a hole where the tail is deformed (also known as bucked) torso that it expands to 1.5times of its original diameter which ensures the rivet is held into place. Common types of rivets include Solid/around head rivets, Semi-tubular rivets, Blind rivets, Oscar rivets, Drive rivet, Flush rivet, Friction-lock rivet, and Rivet alloys. Rivets are used in a wide array of construction applications, particular steelwork and are most-known for being used in bridge-making.
