Dies
Dies are used in manufacturing industries to shape or cut material via the means of a press. Similar to moulds, dies are usually customised to the item which they create. Materials that can be used in a die include rubber, foil, fibre, paper, cloth, corrugated fibreboard, plastics, paperboard, foam, adhesive tapes and sheet metal The most common types of dies are notching dies, blanking dies, trimming dies, perforating dies, compound dies, shaving dies, progression dies, combination dies, and nibbling dies. Dies are used in the manufacturing industry by a wide range of industries including engineering, automotive, retail, oil and gas.
