Jib Cranes
A Jib crane is small to medium sized lifting equipment. Typical features of the Jib Crane are that its lifting system is fixed at the end of its arm and the arm can rotate but can’t be lifted up. Jib cranes can handle small to medium sized loads, with a capacity of around 16 tons (model dependent). The great thing about the Jib Crane is the space it takes up on the floor, which is practically none at all. The Jib Crane comes in a Pillar Jib version which can be used both indoors and outdoors. The Jib Crane is also known in the US as a Boom Car and in the UK as jib carrier or idler carrier. Jib Cranes are used in so many industries, thanks to their ability to work indoors and outdoors. Some common industries include the railway industry and the automotive industry.
