Spray Painting

Spray painting is a technique where a device sprays a coating (such as paint, ink or varnish) through the air on to a surface. The most common types employ compressed gas (more often than not, that gas is air) to direct the paint particles. Spray guns and airbrushes are the two most common tools used in application. The types of spray painting are airbrushing, high volume low pressure (HWLP), low volume low pressure (LWLP), electrostatic spray painting, electric fan, airless spray guns, automated linear spray systems, automated flatline spray systems and spray booth. Spray painting is used in automotive, decorative, marine, architectural coating, furniture finishing, scenic painting and cosmetic industries.
