Cable harness, also known as a wire harness, cable assembly, wiring assembly or wiring loom, is an assembly of cables or wires which transmit signals or electrical power. Types of cable assembly include wiring loom and wiring harness manufacturing. Types of cables include fiber optic, ribbon cable and jumpers, power cables, and high-speed. Cable assembly can be seen in bus wiring looms, motorsport wiring looms, truck wiring looms and also in military transport equipment.
