Not all magnetic materials are the same.

The strength of magnetic material is primarily a factor of thickness. However, the quality of the raw material greatly influences amount of magnetic energy a material can store. Maxmag contains only the finest grade raw materials giving a high intensity multi pole configuration that exhibits some of the strongest holding forces in the industry.

Available in gloss or matt white the vinyl is factory laminated to the non magnetic side, which is digitally printable.

Plain magnetic material is brown on both sides but the magnetic side has a UV coating, which makes identification of the magnetic side easier.

Plain material with a release paper covered acrylic adhesive on the non magnetic side – the magnetic side has a UV coating to help protect the material and aid handling.

Increasingly popular these digitally printable magnetic materials (UV, Solvent and Eco-solvent inks) are available in one metre plus widths (1020mm and 1200mm) wide format to help enhance the look of your graphics.   Ferro material available up to 1260mm wide and 0.2mm thick.

Whether you use water based, solvent, and eco-solvent or UV inks there is a magnetic material suitable for your method of printing.

Not all digital printers are suitable for magnetic material due to a ferrous feed path but in some circumstances the feed paths can be simply damped down with cardboard.

Or use our new digitally printable PET Steel film (0.2mm x 1270mm)  or Ultra thin Ferro (0.2mm x 1260mm) - which has no magnetic attraction itself but is attracted to magnets and will adhere onto a magnetic board.

Whether you are looking for gloss or matt white or plain material (to laminate onto) either in 620mm or 1000mm format we have an exceptionally powerful material especially designed to withstand the higher European speed limits.

PET film with a magnetic coating on the reverse. The material is less than 0.2mm thick and will run through any standard digital printer. Available as 1270mm as standard.  Suitable for solvent and eco–solvent inks or UV inks (please specify type of ink at time of ordering, as they have different properties).

All our magnetic tape is classed as high energy, high strength, the major difference between them is the brand of adhesive applied.

There are adhesive solutions to suit every budget and application – please specify whether you require side A or B magnetic orientation at time of ordering.

High energy magnetic tape is a standard 1.5mm thick (1mm thick is available on special request) and comes in standard widths of 12.7mm, 19mm and 25.4mm. It’s available on a 30 metre roll or supplied to your specific requirements as cut pieces.

A clear double sided transfer adhesive on magnetic tape. We have a choice of three different acrylic adhesives to suit different applications and budgets.

TESA 4965 acrylic adhesive : a premier league adhesive suitable for 99.9% of applications.
 

3M’s acrylic adhesive : great for most applications and significanlty lower in cost than other brands.
 

63T acrylic adhesive : a great all round adhesive for a truly budget price – suitable for many applications

With a TESA 1mm thick white foam carrier this adhesive is ideal for bonding onto an uneven surface or where the magnetic tape is used with a 'see through' substrate.
