Once students have selected a writing prompt and graphic organizer, they may ask for help with essay writing or begin the writing process. Students can begin brainstorming and fill out the graphic organizer. Then, students should write a rough draft of their written responses. Next, students should peer-edit the rough drafts. Last, students should write a final copy to turn in to the teacher.
