Silibase-202B-Silicone Defoamer for The paper industry

Silicone-based defoamers are polymers with silicon backbones. These might be delivered as an oil or a water based emulsion. The silicone compound consists of an hydrophobic silica dispersed in a silicone oil. Emulsifiers are added to ensure that the silicone spreads fast and well in the foaming medium. The silicone compound might also contain silicone glycols and other modified silicone fluids.
These are also heavy duty defoamers and are good at both knocking down surface foam and releasing entrained air.
Polydimethylsiloxane is a widely used antifoaming agent.
Silicone based defoamers are also suitable in non-aqueous foaming systems like crude oil and oil refining. For very demanding applications fluorosilicones may be suitable.

Silibase-CH50 is a free flowing,fine,granular power containing 50% dibenzoy1 peroxide for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins and acrylic resins at ambient and elevated temperatures.At temperatures up to 80¿, Silibase-CH50 Should be used in combination with an aromatic tertiary amine accelerator, above 80¿ the use of an accelerator is not required.

Silibase-CH50 is easy to handle, easy to disperse and dissolves very quickly in unsaturated polyester resins and acrylic resins.When in acrylic resins a very high degree of transparency of the cured part is required the special grade Silibase-CH50 is advised. The curing system Silibase-CH50 amine accelerator shows a very fast cure that is hardly influenced by humidity and fillers.Even at low temperatures a relatively good cure will be obtained. A disadvantage may be the yellow color and poor light resistance of the moulded product.

For ambient temperature curing the following amine accelerators are available to adjust the gel time and speed of cure of the cure system based on Silibase-CH50:

Performance Characteristics:

Excellent agrochemicals synergist, with a low surface tension, good spreading, penetration and emulsification dispersion, is a new and efficient pesticide chemicals. The effect is far better than the JFC, azone, chlorthalidone and other conventional surfactants.

This product has more than ordinary fatty amines, lower alcohol ethoxylate surfactants such as plant toxicity and environmental hazards, greatly reducing the adverse effects on humans and the environment.

Applications:

Use Method:

As a synergist pesticide, being added to the powder pesticide. Added ratio may based on the techincal by testing. As tank-mix additives, rate should between 0.04 to 0.08% (ie 15 kg of sprayer add 6 to 12 grams Silibase-2848P).

Due to low surface tension of silicone surfactant, when using Silibase-2848P, should protect the eyes, should protect well when spraying.
