We specialise in low volume, custom designed plastic mouldings and any type of fabrication from steel or plastic. We also offer replacement parts to machines and equipment in steel or plastic.

Design and Development
Plasmold use the latest 3D CAD software we are able to offer design and development of moulded products.
 

We provide a full range of capabilities from initial design, proto-types through to volume manufacture in most types of thermo-plastics.

In-house CAD design facilities, we can accept AutoCad and RoboCad drawing formats for inter-change of designs.

We have skilled welding personal, which coupled with the plastic and toolroom skills enables us to fabricate items in steel and plastic to customers requirements. We have carried out numerous repair jobs for service companies requiring fast turnaround.

We were approached by a company to design hooks for a conveyor belt system in an assembly operation. They were using cut of wire coat hangers bent into shape from which they suspended plastic bags for packing items into prior to final dispatch. The company found that the bent hooks were not safe for the operators and they also kept falling of the conveyor system when they were being used in the packing operations.

We designed the product, so that the moulded end could not come off the conveyor belt system and made sure that all sharp edges were removed when the product was manufactured. All parts involved in the manufacture of the ‘Mother Hook’ were designed and manufactured within the company.
