Modular buildings are made up of sections called Modules, and are designed to create large open plan areas, suitable for school classrooms, offices, large canteens, hospital wards and so on. These buildings are prefabricated or built off site in a factory and then transported to a pre-prepared site and erected in a fraction of the time that it takes to build a traditional building. This type of building has the advantage of saving time on site as most of the building is going on whilst the Customer has not yet had any disruption and business goes on as normal until the building is ready for installation.
