Since pioneering the first mass-produced scrum machine in 1980, Rhino has been at the forefront of  innovation and technology in the world of rugby training equipment, accessories, match and training balls.
The Powerhouse Scrum Machine, a concept created by our founder and former head of rugby at Dulwich College, Tim Francis, started it all when it broke new ground in the 1980s, and was first used by England in the 1981 Five Nations Championship, a partnership with the national side that still continues to this day.

Today, the same core values of quality, innovation, performance and excellence run through every Rhino product delivered at every level of the game from minis to seniors, men and women, grassroots to elite, all around the world.

Contact is at our heart. Scrum machines, tackle bags, hit shields, protective clothing – to everyone within the game We Are Contact, something that’s reflected in our position as the world’s leading supplier of rugby equipment.
