Cantilever Racking
Cantilever racking is used in warehouses as a storage syste and consists of a vertical column, the base, the arms, and the horizontal and cross bracing. The rack is usually made from structural steel. As well as fixed cantilever racking, mobile racking options are available, commonly called a folding cantilever tray. A folding cantilever tray is a type of stacked shelf that can be folded and unfolded for convenient access to objects on multiple tiers simultaneously. In this case, the shelves can be collapsed when not in use for more compact storage. These types of mobile racking cantilever racks are commonly used in tool boxes. Cantilever racking is commonly found in woodworking shops, lumber yards and plumbing supply warehouses.
