Gaiters

Gaiters are an essential part of headwear and are used for protecting neck and chest from cold temperatures. Most gaiters come in a long tube shape and are also wind/water resistant. Neck gaiters are designed for use in outdoor environments of extreme cold and most can withstand extremely cold temperatures. Neck gaiters are made up of different materials and unlike other normal thermal wear use highly advanced technology for managing skin moisture which with a material like cotton can expose one to cold. Several neck gaiters use highly advanced synthetics with water-hating properties which doesn’t allow sweat to accumulate anywhere near the skin and draw it to the outer surface of the gaiter. This ensures that body heat is not lost in the perspiration process.
